Bring It On 2016

With the first week of the new year coming to a close, I thought it was about time I did a recap on what the last twelve months were like for me, and what's in store for 2016. 

Fall

Fall really snuck up on us here in California, one week it's 85 degrees and the next it's 50 and pouring! With the chilly weather rolling in, i'm quickly realizing that even though layer is working for now, i'm definitely not prepared for the upcoming winter months. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start with my hunt for a staple winter coat? 

Chill

The low temps in Oregon gave me the perfect excuse to pull out my layers the other day. While it was still high 80s back in California, we got to enjoy rain, fall and chilly breezes all weekend long! All things that we have definitely been missing back home lately.

Abridged

We've spent the last couple of days falling hopelessly in love with Portland. The brisk air, the red and gold leaves scattered everywhere, and the amazing food, we can't get enough of this beautiful city! Our short trip was spent driving through some of the most beautiful roads we've ever been on, and eating as much local food as humanly possible. Our 48 hr guide to this unique place will be coming soon! 

Kabuki

We rung in Thai's 24th birthday this year in our favorite way possible. Packing up our bags, booking a hotel room and getting the hell away from our responsibilities for 24 hours. The weekend was amazing,  full of great food and amazing weather in San Francisco thanks to The Kabuki Hotel. 

Greenery

California can't make up it's mind! With boiling hot afternoons and freezing cold evenings, dressing on a daily basis has become a huge guessing game. Light layers have been my go-to as of lately, and they seem to be working in my favor with this bipolar weather.
